Life Stuff: Craft Organizing
Jan. 11th, 2021 05:39 pmI am honestly a little appalled at how much this couch-side shelf has improved my life in just the few days I've had it. It came, I put it together in about 10 minutes, had stuff off the arm of the couch and on the shelves immediately thereafter, and have felt more at peace ever since. Why did I spend so long telling myself I should be better about putting craft stuff away in a closet when admitting it needed to be out where I was using it makes things so much easier?
And then down in the dining room, which is split between my temari streaming set-up and M's airbrushing stuff for 3D-printed models, I have conceded that pandemic streaming is likely to continue for some time, so I needed a better way to deal with the sea of stuff that kept expanding around me. Being able to see the table again is quite soothing, actually! And it's nice to be able to get to the chair without having to resort to acrobatics! Shocking.
The thread isn't as organized as I'd like, since I still haven't removed the stickers from the DMC drawer boxes I got, but this is a vast improvement over what I was dealing with before, so I'll take it!
